NFT is recognized as one of the Colorado Companies to Watch

Golden, Colorado, October 20, 2016: Golden based NFT has been awarded one of the Colorado Companies To Watch awards for 2016.   A celebration and award event is planned at the NFT Corporate Headquarters at 4:30pm.  The award will be presented by UMB Bank Senior Vice President and Chairman of the CCTW program, Sean Nohavec, to Travis Brassell, CEO of NFT.  Other local dignitaries and/or their representatives will be present, such as Golden Mayor Marjorie Sloan, JeffCo County Commissioners, Casey Tighe Libby Szabo, and Don Rosie, who will be presenting a proclamation to NFT.   In addition, representatives from Congressman Perlmutter and Senator Cory Gardner’s office will be present, as well as many other guests, customers and business partners.

NFT is a company that provides products and services to nuclear, aerospace, automation and industrial customers. This award is especially significant given that over 1,000 companies were nominated for this award in 2016 alone.  Paradigm (NFT’s aerospace division) was previously awarded the Orion Program Manager’s Commendation Award by NASA and Lockheed Martin for serving as one of the key suppliers to the Orion Space Program, building over 1,000 components across every module of the spacecraft.  NFT has continued to increase capabilities, add people, grow and diversify their business.  They leveraged their core competencies in electrical engineering, automation, motion, robotics and vision systems to serve the commercial and industrial markets with their NFT Automation division.  These activities have enabled NFT to develop an important strategic relationship with Rockwell Automation as a local OEM solutions provider and obtain UL508A certification.

Colorado Companies to Watch (CCTW) is an important program initiated by the Governor’s Office and currently supported by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. The program was developed to honor privately-held companies headquartered in the State of Colorado that have demonstrated high performance, exceptional leadership and exhibited a relentless focus on growth and innovation, making these companies “worth watching”.

“We are very proud of this important CCTW award, and owe the recognition to each and every one of our loyal and dedicated NFT employees” stated John Allbery, President and Chief Operating Officer of NFT. “We have fantastic customers, and it has been enjoyable and rewarding for our NFT Senior Leadership Team to grow and diversify our business, and take it to the next level of success”.

NFT was selected as a 2016 Winner of the CCTW Award based on its commitment to growth and innovative products and services, strong leadership, sustainable competitive advantage and other factors that showcased the Company’s success. CCTW selects its annual winners through a rigorous process that examines each company’s innovation, growth and commitment to the community, and the cream of Colorado’s up-and-coming companies are then recognized for utilizing their creativity, determination and performance to “turn a spark of success into a roaring economic fire”.
